Welcome to the Woodcock Watch interactive blog!
This blog has been created to allow schools participating in the 'Woodcock Watch' topic in collaboration with the National Gamekeepers' Organisation Education Trust to interact with one another and to share their progress with the project. Schools will be able to track the migration patterns of not only their woodcock, but all woodcocks being observed with this project.
The project involves schools sponsoring a woodcock and following its progress throughout the school term. Schools can choose to cooperate in a range of activities relating to this project with cover all areas of the National Curriculum from languages to art and design.
Participating schools have been asked to contribute to this website regularly by producing blog posts to show their progress and examples of pupils work. The site will also offer the opportunity for discussion boards and weekly discussion topics will be set up.
